Technical Description
DTC C0062 flags a circuit, range, or plausibility failure within the Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor (X-axis G-sensor), typically housed inside the IMU/Yaw Rate combo cluster. The ABS/ESP ECU continuously cross-references longitudinal acceleration signals with calculated vehicle deceleration/acceleration derived from wheel speed telemetry. The fault triggers when raw sensor offset drifts beyond calibrated thresholds (> ±0.2G at level standstill), communication frames are corrupted/missing over internal bus channels, or hardware supply/signal circuits experience open/short conditions.
Possible Causes
1. Förlorad grundkalibrering/nollpunktsförskjutning efter chassi-/styrledsreparation eller mekanisk stöt
2. Lös eller deformerad monteringskonsol/fästplatta under mittkonsol eller förarstol
