Technical Description
DTC C0092 indicates a circuit malfunction within the ABS/ESC Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) outlet solenoid valve circuit. The Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) monitors internal high-side and low-side driver circuits using diagnostic micro-pulses to verify solenoid coil resistance and back-EMF clamping. If an open circuit, short-to-ground, or short-to-power is detected across the valve coil or its dedicated driver stage, C0092 is stored, triggering an immediate shutdown of anti-lock braking and stability control functions to prevent uncommanded pressure release.
Possible Causes
1. Mikrosprickor / kallödningar på kretskortet i ABS-elektroniken (EBCM) vid anslutningsstiften till solenoidspolarna.
2. Avbrott eller intern kortslutning i själva solenoidspolen inuti hydraulblocket (HCU).
3. Korrosion, stiftvandring eller dålig kontakt i ABS-enhetens huvudkablage/multikontakt.
4. Spänningsfall i ABS-ventilens huvudsäkring eller internt fel i ventilrelä/MOSFET-drivsteg.
