Technical Description
DTC C0094 indicates an electrical circuit malfunction or functional failure within the ABS/ESC hydraulic modulator valve assembly or its internal driver circuit. The Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) continuously monitors low-side and high-side driver current during self-test and active modulation. If an open circuit, short to ground, short to battery, or inductive flyback anomaly is detected on the solenoid coil driver, the module disables active stability/ABS intervention and stores this DTC.
Possible Causes
1. Kallödning, fuktinträngning eller bindtrådsbrott inuti ABS-styrenhetens integrerade elektroniska del.
2. Oxiderade eller brända terminaler/kontaktstift i huvudkontakten till ABS/ESP-modulen.
3. Avbrott eller kortslutning i solenoidventilens kopparlindning på hydraulblocket.
4. Spänningsfall på huvudmatning eller jordförbindelse till ABS-pumpen under hög strömbelastning.
