The pre-pressure valve in the brake booster gives the ABS control module information about brake system pressure and the driver's intent. When the driver presses the brake pedal, the stability control must be disengaged. The module has registered a faulty signal from this valve, and the fault is present right now. This code applies only to cars with stability control.

- Resistance build-up or corrosion at the plugs and joints
- Open circuit in the wiring
- Wiring shorted to ground or supply voltage
- Incorrectly fitted or defective pressure sensor
- Faulty ABS control module
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Inspect the plugs on the ABS module and on the pre-pressure valve for resistance and corrosion
- 2Reconnect any disturbed connectors and road test the car to see whether the fault returns
- 3Activate the valve with diagnostic equipment and check that its status switches between off and on
- 4Check the wiring to the valve for breaks and shorts to ground or supply voltage
- 5Remedy as needed and clear the code
- 6ABS and stability control are safety-critical – do not work on the brake booster or brake system yourself, have a workshop do it
