Yaw-velocity sensor 2 tells the ABS control module how much and in which direction the car is yawing. This code applies only to cars with stability control. At some point the module registered a faulty signal from this sensor, and the fault is intermittent. The equivalent code for yaw-velocity sensor 1 is ABS-00A0.
Mulige årsaker
- Open circuit in the wiring
- Wiring shorted to ground or supply voltage
- Loose yaw-velocity sensor
- Faulty yaw-velocity sensor or, less commonly, a faulty control module
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check the connectors at the ABS module and at yaw-velocity sensor 2 for contact resistance and oxidation
- 2Follow the wiring to the sensor and look for intermittent open circuits
- 3Check that the sensor is firmly secured in its bracket
- 4Remedy as necessary and clear the code
- 5If the fault returns, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the sensor and the wiring
- 6ABS and stability control are safety-critical – do not work on the ABS module or the brake system yourself, have a workshop do it
