Hva betyr feilkoden?
The additive dosing module (ADM) has registered serious interference on the high-speed CAN network, so its communication is blocked. The module then shuts itself down until the power supply is disconnected. Because it cannot communicate, the code can only be read if the fault is intermittent.
Mulige årsaker
- Short circuit between the CAN wires
- Open circuit in one of the CAN wires
- Internal fault in the control module
- Internal fault in another control module on the same part of the CAN network
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the codes in the central electronic module (CEM), since it monitors the voltage on the CAN wires
- 2Check the battery and its terminals so the voltage is stable
- 3With diagnostic equipment measure the CAN network and look for breaks and shorts
- 4Do not replace the central electronic module for a CAN fault unless fault-finding shows it is faulty
- 5Clear the codes after the repair and check that they do not return
