Hva betyr feilkoden?
The AEM has registered serious interference on the CAN communication, which blocks its communication. The module switches itself off (bus-off) and stays off until the power supply is disconnected. Because it cannot communicate, the code can only be read out if the fault is intermittent.
Mulige årsaker
- Short circuit between the CAN wires
- Open circuit in one of the CAN wires
- Internal fault in the control module
- Fault in another control module on the same part of the network that disturbs traffic
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the codes in the central electronic module (CEM) first, and trace any codes found there
- 2Measure the resistance and shorts in the CAN network with diagnostic equipment
- 3Check the battery and its terminals so the voltage is stable
- 4Do not replace the central electronic module for a CAN fault unless fault-finding shows an internal fault
- 5Clear the codes after the repair and check that they do not return
