Hva betyr feilkoden?
The audio control module (AUD) has detected that it has itself become too hot. To protect its electronics it reduces its output or switches off, and the sound from the speakers then disappears. This usually happens when the surroundings are very hot or when the module has been working at high output for a long time.
Mulige årsaker
- High ambient temperature around the audio unit, for example after parking in the sun
- High power output in the module over a longer period
- Blocked ventilation around the audio unit
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Let the car cool down and see whether the sound returns
- 2Make sure air can circulate around the audio unit and that nothing blocks it
- 3If the fault only appears when it is hot it may be temporary overheating, but if it recurs the audio control module needs replacing
- 4Read the code with diagnostic equipment and confirm whether the fault is permanent before replacing any part
