Hva betyr feilkoden?
On the V60, the brake control module (BCM) has detected an electrical fault in the circuit to the brake booster pre-pressure valve, where the signal wire is shorted to ground. The valve admits air into the booster when stability control or adaptive cruise control needs extra brake pressure, so those functions are affected.
Mulige årsaker
- Signal wire to the pre-pressure valve shorted to ground
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connectors
- Damaged pre-pressure valve
- Internal fault in the brake control module
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the fuses are intact; their locations are in the owner's manual or on the fuse box cover
- 2Read and note the code, clear it and road test the car to see whether it returns
- 3Check the connectors at the brake control module and the pre-pressure valve for contact resistance and oxidation
- 4Activate the pre-pressure valve with diagnostic equipment and check the wire for a short to ground
- 5The braking system is safety critical: do not work on the pre-pressure valve or brake booster yourself; leave this to a workshop
Symptomer du kan merke1
- Cruise control will not engage
