Hva betyr feilkoden?
On the V60, the brake control module (BCM) has measured an incorrect current in the circuit to the brake booster pre-pressure valve. The valve admits air into the booster during stability control and when adaptive cruise control needs extra brake pressure, and the module cannot rely on its operation when the current deviates.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connectors
- Break or damage in the signal wire to the valve
- Damaged pre-pressure valve
- Internal fault in the brake control module
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the fuses are intact; their locations are in the owner's manual or on the fuse box cover
- 2Read and note the code, clear it and road test the car to see whether it returns
- 3Check the connectors at the brake control module and the pre-pressure valve for contact resistance and oxidation
- 4Activate the pre-pressure valve with diagnostic equipment and check that the current is normal
- 5The braking system is safety critical: do not work on the pre-pressure valve or brake booster yourself; leave this to a workshop
Symptomer du kan merke1
- Cruise control will not engage
