On cars with roll stability control (RSC), the brake control module (BCM) receives information about the car's movement from the stability sensor, including the roll rate. If the sensor has an internal fault, roll control and other stability functions are blocked.

3If the fault remains, the stability sensor needs replacing by a workshop. The brake control module is normally not the fault
