On the V60, the brake control module (BCM) has compared the signals from the brake pedal angle sensor and found that they do not agree. The sensor consists of two sensors, and the fault most often lies in the sensor or in its wiring.

- 1Read and note the code, clear it and road test the car to see whether it returns
- 2Look for damage in the wiring to the brake pedal angle sensor and in the sensor itself
- 3Check the angle sensor with diagnostic equipment and replace it if damaged
- 4The braking system is safety critical: do not work on the brake pedal sensor yourself; leave this to a workshop, and drive carefully until the fault is fixed
