On the V60, the brake control module (BCM) has found that the signal from the pressure sensor in the cut-off unit, which belongs to the brake pedal feel simulator, is electrically incorrect. The signal is outside the permitted range, and anti-spin, hill descent assist and adaptive cruise control may be affected.

- Damaged wiring to the cut-off unit
- Faulty plug contact at the cut-off unit's pressure sensor
- Damaged pressure sensor in the cut-off unit

- 1Read and note the code, clear it and road test the car to see whether it returns
- 2Look for damage in the wiring to the cut-off unit and in the connector at the pressure sensor
- 3Check the pressure sensor with diagnostic equipment and replace it if damaged
- 4The braking system is safety critical: do not work on the cut-off unit or brake pedal yourself; leave this to a workshop, and drive carefully until the fault is fixed
