Volvo-modeller feilkoden gjelder for
Gjelder følgende modeller:
1 modellXC90 (2003–)
Hva betyr feilkoden?
The brake control module (BCM) receives no signal, or an incorrect signal, from the AYC sensor, which contains the sideways movement, acceleration and tilt sensors used by the stability system. The code only applies to cars with DSTC and means the stability functions are switched off.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance in the connections
- Open circuit in the wiring between the brake control module and the AYC sensor
- AYC sensor not connected
- Internal fault in the AYC sensor
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check the connectors at the brake control module and the AYC sensor for contact resistance and oxidation
- 2Road test the car and then read the code status without switching the ignition off; if the code has become intermittent, poor contact is the likely cause
- 3Check the wiring for breaks, and that the AYC sensor is correctly fitted and its bracket is secure
- 4If the wiring is intact and the sensor is correctly fitted, a workshop needs to replace the AYC sensor
- 5The brake and stability systems are safety-critical, so have a workshop carry out all work on the sensor
Symptomer du kan merke4
- General warning lamp on
- Traction control does not work
- Stability function does not work
- Anti-skid function does not work
Hva feilen kan påvirke1
- Traction control, stability control and dynamic stability control (AYC) are disabled
Generell veiledning for bileiere. Feilsøking på bilen kan peke på en annen årsak.
