The CEM broadcasts the signals the BCM needs in order to regulate collision warning with brake support, adaptive cruise control and City Safety. The code is set when the signals from the CEM are missing, so these functions may work incorrectly or not at all.

- Fault in the central electronic module (CEM)
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read codes in the central electronic module and any other affected modules, and troubleshoot them first
- 2Check the wiring and connectors on the CAN network for breaks and contact resistance
- 3Check that the wiring is not routed close to sources of interference, such as mobile phones
- 4Clear the code only once the cause has been corrected, and check that it does not return after a road test
- 5The brake system is safety-critical, so have a workshop carry out any work on the central electronic module and the brake control module
