Hva betyr feilkoden?
The brake control module (BCM) has received configuration data that does not match the car. The code is set when a towbar is fitted without the vehicle configuration being updated for it, or when a module or software from another vehicle model has been used. It is only checked at the first ignition cycle after the change.
Mulige årsaker
- Vehicle configuration not updated for a fitted towbar with trailer stability assist
- Brake control module from another vehicle model has been fitted
- Central electronic module from another vehicle model has been fitted
- Software written for another model was flashed into the brake module
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1If a towbar is fitted, have a workshop update the vehicle configuration so it matches the towbar
- 2If the brake control module has been fitted from another car, have a workshop reset its configuration and clear the code
- 3Read codes in the brake control module and other modules and troubleshoot them first
- 4The brake system is safety-critical, so have a workshop carry out all configuration and any replacement
