The BECM controls and monitors the contactors of the high voltage battery at the same time. The code is stored when there is voltage in the auxiliary circuit (AUX) even though the contact on the positive side has been commanded open, which means the contact is stuck in the closed position. The fault may be caused by a damaged high voltage battery.

- 1Read and note the fault code, clear it and road test to check whether it returns
- 2Check that the car's ordinary battery is charged and in good condition
- 3Have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the contactors and the high voltage battery
- 4The high voltage system should only be handled by qualified personnel, so have a workshop carry out all work on the battery and other high voltage parts
