Although the fault code is named on-board charger (OBC), it concerns communication with the DC/DC converter (DCDC). The control module continuously receives information over HS-CAN, and the code is set when that information stops. The fault usually lies in the sending module or in the wiring.
Mulige årsaker
- The fault probably lies in the sending control module
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connectors
- Damaged communication wiring on the CAN network
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and note the fault code, clear it and road test to check whether it returns
- 2Have a workshop read the fault codes in the DC/DC converter and remedy them first
- 3The high voltage system should only be handled by qualified personnel, so have a workshop carry out all work on the battery and other high voltage parts
