The signal from the blower fan control is faulty. This is probably caused by a defective or short-circuited potentiometer in the control. The control module then works from a midpoint value, so the fan may run at the wrong speed.

1Check that the fan control works by changing the speed of the cabin fan
2If the fault returns, have a workshop check the control and its connector
3If the fault is permanent the CCM unit must be replaced, since the potentiometer cannot be replaced separately. Have a workshop do this
4If you have a diagnostic tool, activate the fan from the activation function and listen for it to start
