The climate control module (CCM) has registered that the 30-power supply to it is absent when the ignition is turned on. The 30-supply is the constant live feed from the battery, and without it the control module does not get the voltage it needs. Because the fault is intermittent, it has occurred before but is no longer present.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance or oxidation at a connection
- Open circuit in the wire to the climate control module
- Short to ground in the wire to the climate control module
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Make sure the transport protection clip in the engine bay relay and fuse box is correctly seated, as the code may have been set during transport from the factory
- 2Read off and clear the fault code, road test the car and see whether the code returns
- 3Check the fuse for the climate control module supply and the connectors at the module for looseness and oxidation
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the supply wire has voltage when the ignition is on and that the wire has no contact with ground (the body)
- 5If the fault returns after these checks, have a workshop check the supply and grounding of the climate control module
