The climate control module (CCM) has registered that the rear window defroster button has been pressed for too long. This can be because the switch has stuck in the panel, or because the climate control module is faulty. The fault may be permanent, or it may have occurred only once before.
Mulige årsaker
- The button is jammed in the climate control panel
- Defective climate control module
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read off and clear the fault code, then check whether it returns
- 2Check that the rear defroster button is not stuck in the pressed position and that it does not stick
- 3With diagnostic equipment, follow the status of the rear defroster button in live data. The status should change when the button is pressed and change back when it is released
- 4If the button works correctly but the fault remains, the climate control module is probably defective
- 5Have a workshop read off and note the programmed values, then replace and program the climate control module
