Hva betyr feilkoden?
The CEM has registered that communication with the SRS control module is not working, and the fault code is set. The SRS warning lamp may light. The fault concerns the airbag system, and all work on it is done by a workshop.
Mulige årsaker
- No power supply to the SRS control module
- Break in the earth wire to the SRS control module
- Contact resistance in the terminals
- Open circuit in the CAN wiring to the SRS control module
- The SRS control module is not meant for this car, for example a used module with other software or hardware
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the SRS warning lamp in the instrument panel lights when the ignition is switched on and goes out after a while
- 2Do not clear the code yourself or replace the CEM for CEM-1A5X codes; they point to a CAN communication fault
- 3Safety note: do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop check the SRS control module and its wiring with diagnostic equipment
