Hva betyr feilkoden?
This variant applies to the C30, C70, S40 and V50. The total mileage is stored both in the CEM and in the instrument cluster, and the two are compared when the ignition goes from position I to position II. If the information from the cluster is missing, the code is set. The fault does not affect driving.
Mulige årsaker
- An open circuit in the signal cable between the CEM and the instrument cluster
- A faulty instrument cluster
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Switch the ignition off, wait a moment and switch it on again. Check whether the code returns
- 2Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire between the CEM and the instrument cluster has no break
- 3Check that the connectors at the CEM and the instrument cluster are seated and not corroded
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop check or replace the instrument cluster, since this may require programming
- 5After the work, clear the code and check that it does not return
