Hva betyr feilkoden?
The central electronic module (CEM) monitors the water temperature sensor in the heater. A short to ground in the sensor line is read by the control unit as a fault, and the code is set, which only shows when the heater is active. The fault appears as poor heating in the passenger compartment.

- Defective water temperature sensor
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and note the code, clear it and start the heater to see whether the fault returns
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool, read the water temperature in live data and compare it with the engine temperature once the engine is warm
- 3Check that the connectors at the control unit and the sensor are secure and free from corrosion
- 4Use a multimeter to check the water temperature sensor wires for contact with ground (the body), testing one wire at a time
- 5If you have a diagnostic tool, watch the water temperature in live data as the engine warms up; if the value does not rise smoothly, a workshop should replace the sensor
