The child-proof lock in the left rear door disconnects the inner door handle and disables the rear window lift, and it is switched on from the panel on the driver's door. The CEM has not received confirmation that the child-proof lock motor has locked, which sets the fault code.
Mulige årsaker
- The lock motor has jammed in the unlocked position
- The lock motor has become too hot
- Faulty status switch on the lock motor
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check the fault codes in the driver door and passenger door modules, as faults in the rear doors can also show there, and clear them if needed
- 2With the ignition on, activate the child-proof lock from the switch on the driver's door and check that the rear door cannot be opened from inside
- 3Check the fuse for the left rear door module in the central electronic module and replace it if it has blown
- 4Check the wire between the left rear door module and the lock unit for chafing and loose connections
- 5Use a multimeter to check that the wire to the lock unit has no contact with ground (the body) or voltage, and that nothing mechanical blocks the lock motor
