Hva betyr feilkoden?
The left-hand gas discharge lamp module (GDL) tells the central electronic module (CEM) that the left low beam cannot be lit. The cause may be a faulty left-hand lamp housing or a broken signal wire between the module and the housing. Check the lamp housing and the connectors first.
Mulige årsaker
- The left-hand lamp housing is faulty
- Open circuit in the wire running from the left-hand GDL module to the lamp housing
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Switch the ignition off and unplug the connector to the left headlamp. Check that the connectors are clean, firmly fitted and undamaged
- 2After recent removal or replacement, make sure the igniter sits properly. High voltage is present, so leave other work to a workshop
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the wire between the module and the lamp housing is not broken
- 4Clear the code after the repair and switch on the low beam to see whether it works
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop replace the lamp housing or igniter, one part at a time, checking after each change
Symptomer du kan merke1
- The low beam does not work
