Hva betyr feilkoden?
The CEM reads the signal from the sun sensor, which senses the strength of the sunlight and is used to control the cabin temperature. The fault shows that the signal is shorted to ground, so the climate system does not get the right input.
Mulige årsaker
- The signal wire is shorted to ground
- Damaged sun sensor
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read off and note the code, clear it and check whether it returns when you drive in sunlight
- 2Check that the fuses for the climate system are intact
- 3Check that the connector to the sun sensor is fully engaged and not corroded
- 4Use a multimeter (ignition off, connector unplugged) to check that the signal wire from the sun sensor has no connection to ground
- 5If you have a diagnostic tool, read the sun sensor value in live data and check that it rises when the sensor is exposed to strong light
- 6If the fault remains, have a workshop check the sun sensor and its wiring
Symptomer du kan merke2
- The cabin temperature does not drop in strong sunlight
- The cabin temperature does not match the setting selected
Generell veiledning for bileiere. Feilsøking på bilen kan peke på en annen årsak.
