Hva betyr feilkoden?
This is a crash event code where the fault is in the wiring rather than the crash itself: the crash signal wire between the airbag system control module (SRS) and the CEM is short-circuited to earth. The CEM checks the crash signal both over a direct wire and over CAN, and the fault is checked while the CEM is powered.
Mulige årsaker
- The crash signal wire is short-circuited to earth
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connections
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Do not work on the airbag system wiring or connectors yourself, as airbags can deploy if work is done incorrectly
- 2Have a workshop check the crash signal wire between the SRS control module and the CEM for short circuits to earth and for connection problems
- 3Do not clear the fault code until the workshop has checked the wire
- 4If the fault returns after the check, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment fault-trace the SRS system and the CEM
Symptomer du kan merke2
- The airbag system (SRS) warning lamp may be on
- A text message may appear in the display
