Hva betyr feilkoden?
The CPM has registered a signal that is too low on the cable to the water pump, meaning the signal sits below where it should be. The cause may be a short circuit to earth in the cable, poor connections or a damaged pump. The heater cannot be activated until the code has been cleared.
Mulige årsaker
- The cable between the CPM and the water pump is shorted to earth
- Contact resistance, oxidation or loose connections
- Damaged water pump
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Clear the code and start the heater again
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool, activate the water pump and listen for a buzzing sound; if there is none, the fault is probably permanent
- 3Disconnect the connector at the heater and check that the contacts are secure and free from oxidation
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the cable to the water pump has no contact with earth (the body); if it does, the cable is shorted
- 5If the fault returns, have a workshop check the water pump and the wiring
