Hva betyr feilkoden?
The CPM has registered a signal from the overheat protection thermostat that is too low. The thermostat protects the heater from overheating. The cause may be a short circuit to earth in the cable, poor connections or a damaged thermostat. The heater cannot be activated until the code has been cleared.
Mulige årsaker
- The cable between the CPM and the overheat protection thermostat is shorted to earth
- Contact resistance, oxidation or loose connections
- Damaged overheat protection thermostat
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Clear the code and try starting the heater again
- 2With a diagnostic tool, activate the heater and check that the thermostat temperature rises; if not, suspect the thermostat or its wiring
- 3Disconnect the connector at the overheat protection thermostat and check that the contacts are secure and free from oxidation
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the cable has no contact with earth (the body); if it does, the cable is shorted
