The control module registers a short to ground in the cable to the mirror heater, and the heating of the outside mirror then does not work.

Hva du kan gjøre

1Read out and note the fault code, clear it, then check that the mirror heating starts when it is switched on
2Check the connector at the mirror for contact resistance and oxidation
3With ignition off, use a multimeter to confirm the heater cable has no contact with ground (body). Replace the cable if it is damaged
4If you have a diagnostic tool, activate the mirror heater and feel whether the glass warms up
5If no fault is found, have a workshop try a new door mirror
