Hva betyr feilkoden?
The fault is stored when the heater of the door mirror is switched on and the control module finds an open circuit or voltage in the cable. The heating of the door mirror then does not work, and the battery may discharge.
Mulige årsaker
- Open circuit in the signal cable to the heater
- Signal cable to the heater short-circuited to supply voltage
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read out and note the fault code, clear it, then check that the mirror heater can be switched on and off
- 2Check the connector at the mirror for contact resistance and oxidation
- 3With ignition off, use a multimeter to confirm the heater cable has no contact with voltage (plus) and is not broken. Replace the cable if it is damaged
- 4If no fault is found, have a workshop try a new door mirror
