Hva betyr feilkoden?
The control module in the left front door feeds the puddle lamp in the left door mirror. The fault is stored when the lamp is on and the output signal is too high, which can be caused by a short to voltage or an open circuit in the power supply cable. The mirror lamp then does not work.
Mulige årsaker
- Power supply cable to the puddle lamp short-circuited to voltage
- Open circuit in the power supply cable to the puddle lamp
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read out and note the fault code, clear it, then switch the puddle lamp on to see if the code returns
- 2Check that the fuse for the mirror lights is intact and seated in the fuse box
- 3With ignition off, use a multimeter to check that the supply cable has no contact with plus and is not broken. Replace the cable if it is damaged
- 4Check the lamp holder in the left mirror for contact resistance, oxidation and loose contacts
- 5If no fault is found, have a workshop check the control module in the left front door
