Although the code is titled left front puddle lamp, it applies to the right door mirror lamp, which is powered from the right front door. The fault is stored when the lamp is on and the output signal is too high, which can be caused by a short to voltage or a break in the supply. The mirror lamp then does not work.

- Supply cable to the lamp short-circuited to voltage
- Break in the supply cable to the lamp
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read out and note the fault code, clear it, then switch on the lamp in the right mirror to see if the code returns
- 2Check the fuses in the fuse box and replace any that are blown
- 3With ignition off, use a multimeter to check that the supply cable to the lamp is not broken and has no contact with plus. Replace the cable if it is damaged
- 4Check the lamp holder in the right mirror for oxidation and loose contacts
- 5If no fault is found, have a workshop try a new right door mirror
