Hva betyr feilkoden?
The driver or passenger door module reads the position sensor that registers the vertical position of the mirror during electric adjustment. The fault is stored when the voltage on the signal wire is too low, because the wire has contact with ground, or because of moisture and oxidation in the connections. A break in the wire can also set the same code.
Mulige årsaker
- The signal wire is short-circuited to ground
- Moisture and/or oxidation in the connections
- Open circuit in the signal wire, which leaves the voltage undefined
- The supply to the mirror potentiometer is short-circuited to ground, which has its own code that should be diagnosed first
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the fuses are intact
- 2If there is a code for the supply to the mirror potentiometer, diagnose it first and then check whether this code returns
- 3Test the up and down adjustment and see whether the mirror moves smoothly in both directions
- 4If you have a diagnostic tool, follow the up and down mirror position in live data while adjusting and check that the value changes smoothly
- 5Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire has no contact with ground and is not broken
- 6Check the connectors in the door and at the mirror base for moisture and oxidation
Symptomer du kan merke1
- Electric adjustment of the mirrors does not work
