Hva betyr feilkoden?
The driver or passenger door module (DDM/PDM) compares its own system voltage with the voltage in the central electronic control module (CEM). The code is stored when the comparison shows a deviation. It is only worth troubleshooting if it has been active for a longer period and a door function is actually not working. Otherwise it can be erased without further action.
Mulige årsaker
- The supply wire to the module is shorted to ground
- Supply voltage is too low
- Moisture or oxidation in the connections
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and erase the code, then road test to see whether it returns and whether any door function is still missing
- 2Check that the battery is fully charged and that the alternator charges it while the engine runs
- 3Check that the fuses are intact
- 4Check the wiring and connectors to the door module for chafing, loose contacts and signs of moisture or oxidation
- 5Use a multimeter to check that the supply wire has no contact with ground (the body) when it is disconnected
- 6If the code returns, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment measure the voltage in the door module and compare it with the CEM
Symptomer du kan merke5
- Electric window lift does not work
- The window lift is reduced or behaves incorrectly
- Locking and unlocking with the central locking does not work
- The child lock does not work
- Mirror defrosting does not work
