Hva betyr feilkoden?
The module judges whether the oil temperature sensor reading is believable. The code is stored when the signal rises above the highest permitted value, which can be caused by a short to voltage or a break in the sensor circuit. The four-wheel drive is then disengaged.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance and oxidation in the connectors
- Damaged temperature sensor
- Damaged control module
- Damaged oil pressure and oil temperature sensor
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and erase the code, then road test to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the connector to the temperature sensor is secure and free from oxidation
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the wire to the sensor is intact and has no contact with battery voltage when it is disconnected at both ends
- 4If the code returns, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment read the sensor signal and replace the sensor or the control module if needed
Symptomer du kan merke1
- The four-wheel drive does not work
Hva feilen kan påvirke1
- The four-wheel drive is disengaged
