The fault is intermittent, and there are no noticeable symptoms for the driver. The fault lies in the engine control module software, not in the instrument.

2Has the engine control module software been changed, for example by an optimisation? Tell the workshop, so it knows before anything is overwritten

4If the software has been damaged unintentionally, have a workshop reload it. Clear the code only after this has been done
