Hva betyr feilkoden?

The instrument panel module (DIM) switches the relay that powers the ignition lock control unit (SCU). The code is set when the signal wire to that control is shorted to ground. The steering lock then cannot lock or unlock, and the engine does not start.

1Check that the fuses are intact; their locations are in the owner's manual or on the fuse box cover
2Follow the signal wire for chafing and pinched areas, where a short to ground can occur
3Use a multimeter to confirm the signal wire has no contact with ground (body)
4The steering lock is a safety function: do not work on it yourself. Have a workshop check the steering lock before clearing the fault code
