Hva betyr feilkoden?
The instrument cluster (DIM) loses contact with the passenger door module (PDM), which sends information to the instrument cluster. The fault points to the communication and not to a single fault in the door.
Mulige årsaker
- Break in the communication wire
- The communication wire is shorted to earth
- The communication wire is shorted to supply voltage
- Poor contact, oxidation or breaks in the connections
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the fuses are intact. Their location is in the owner's manual or the fuse list
- 2Check that the connector in the passenger door is fully engaged and not corroded
- 3Test the window regulator and door lock on the passenger door. If either does not work, this points to a fault in the door wiring or module
- 4Measure with a multimeter that the communication wire to the passenger door has no break and is not shorted to earth
- 5If the fault remains after these checks, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment investigate the passenger door module and the communication
