Hva betyr feilkoden?
The instrument cluster (DIM) gets no reply from the trailer module (TRM), which among other things controls the trailer functions. The communication is broken, so the instrument cluster may show a text message about the trailer functions.
Mulige årsaker
- Break in the communication wire
- The communication wire is shorted to earth
- The communication wire is shorted to supply voltage
- Poor contact, oxidation or breaks in the connections
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the fuses for the tow bar and the instrument cluster are intact. Their location is in the owner's manual
- 2Check that the trailer socket on the tow bar is not dirty, damp or corroded, and that the plug is fully seated in it
- 3Read and note the fault code with a diagnostic tool, clear it and road test the car with and without a trailer attached
- 4If the tow bar has recently been fitted or replaced, check that all connectors are properly reconnected
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment investigate the tow bar module and the communication
