Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module monitors the fuel temperature sensor signal and logs a fault when the signal is uneven or missing. The fault is checked only while the engine runs, so the lamp may take a while to go out after a repair. The cause is either poor contact in connectors or wiring, or a damaged sensor.

- Loose connection, contact resistance or oxidation in connectors or wiring
- Damaged fuel temperature sensor
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and note the code, clear it and road test to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the connectors at the fuel temperature sensor and at the control module are fully engaged and free from oxidation
- 3Follow the signal wire from the sensor and look for looseness, chafing and loose clips
- 4With the sensor connector unplugged, use a multimeter to check that the signal wire has no connection to ground (the body)
- 5If you have a diagnostic tool, check that fuel temperature in live data is smooth and steady with the engine running. An uneven value points to the connector or wiring
- 6If the fault returns, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment decide whether the sensor needs replacing
