Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module drives the fuel injectors through a high-output stage and checks how quickly they discharge. Although the code is named signal missing, it is set when the discharge time is outside the permitted range. Causes can be a blocked fuel return line, loose or corroded connections, an open or shorted signal wire, or a damaged injector.

- Blocked return line from the injectors
- Loose connection, contact resistance or oxidation in the connectors
- Open circuit in the signal wire
- Signal wire shorted to ground or supply voltage
- Damaged injector
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1If other fault codes for the injectors are stored, deal with those first
- 2Read the fault code, clear it and road test to see whether it returns
- 3Check all injector connectors: are they fully engaged, and free from oxidation?
- 4Follow the wiring to the injectors and look for breaks, chafing and shorts to ground
- 5If you have a diagnostic tool, compare the injector values in live data. An injector that clearly differs from the others points to the fault
- 6If the fault returns, have a workshop check that the fuel return line is not blocked and decide whether an injector needs replacing
