Hva betyr feilkoden?
According to the engine control module (ECM), the ignition coil for cylinder 2 gives too short a spark time or too little current, and the fault is set while driving. The cause may be an open or grounded primary lead, an open secondary lead, a damaged ignition coil or a damaged crankshaft pulley.

- Open circuit on the ignition coil primary lead
- Short to ground on the ignition coil primary lead
- Open circuit on the ignition coil secondary lead
- Damaged ignition coil
- Damaged pulley on the crankshaft
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read out the fault code, erase it and road-test to see whether it comes back
- 2The ignition system works at high voltage, so keep your hands away from the coil for cylinder 2 and the spark plug leads while the engine runs
- 3Switch off the ignition and unplug the connector to the coil for cylinder 2. Look for loose contacts, corrosion and contact resistance
- 4Check the coil wiring for chafing and breaks, and use a multimeter to confirm the primary lead has no open circuit and is not grounded
- 5Check the crankshaft pulley visually for damaged teeth or other damage
- 6If the fault remains, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the ignition coil and its power supply
