Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module has found a signal from the intake air temperature sensor that is too low. The sensor sits inside the mass air flow sensor, so the fault may lie in the wiring, the connector or the sensor itself. A message may appear in the text display.
Mulige årsaker
- Signal wire short-circuited to ground
- Contact resistance, poor contact or oxidation in the connections
- Open circuit in the signal wire
- Damaged intake air temperature sensor inside the mass air flow sensor
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and note the code, clear it and road test to see whether it returns
- 2Check the connectors at the mass air flow sensor for play, contact resistance and oxidation
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire is not broken and has no short to ground
- 4With your own diagnostic tool, check that the air temperature in live data is reasonable and matches the surroundings when the engine is cold
- 5If the fault remains with clean connectors and an intact wire, have a workshop check the mass air flow sensor, since the temperature sensor is inside it
