Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module (ECM) monitors the signal from the intake air temperature sensor and compares it with a calculated target value. The fault is set when the signal is above the target value. It is only checked under certain driving conditions, so the lamp may come on only after a drive.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connections to the intake air temperature sensor
- Damaged intake air temperature sensor
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the fault code, clear it and test drive to see whether it returns
- 2Check the boost pressure sensor connector for contact resistance and oxidation, since the intake air temperature sensor is built into it
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool: compare intake air temperature in live data with engine temperature when the engine is cold; the values should be roughly equal
- 4If the fault returns after clearing and a test drive: have a workshop try a new boost pressure sensor
