Hva betyr feilkoden?
When the engine starts, the ECM compares the intake air temperature with the values from the fuel, outside air and engine temperature sensors. If the intake air temperature is too low compared with them, the fault is set, and the engine may be hard to start.
Mulige årsaker
- Damaged intake air temperature sensor
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connections to the intake air temperature sensor
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the fault code, clear it and test drive to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the connectors to the intake air temperature sensor are free from play, oxidation and contact resistance
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool: after the engine has stood for a long time, the intake and engine temperatures should be close to each other
- 4If you have a diagnostic tool: if the intake air temperature does not match the other sensors now, the fault is permanent
- 5Check that the sensor wiring has no break and is not shorted to ground
- 6If the connectors and wiring are fine: have a workshop check or replace the sensor
