Hva betyr feilkoden?
The ECM watches the reading from the temperature sensor inside the MAF sensor. The fault is set when that signal is faulty, and the cause can be poor contact or a damaged sensor.
Mulige årsaker
- Damaged intake air temperature sensor inside the MAF sensor
- Contact resistance or oxidation on the connector
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the fault code, clear it and test drive to see whether it returns
- 2Check the connection to the temperature sensor in the MAF sensor for contact resistance, play and oxidation
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool: check that the fault is not active, meaning only stored, after you have test driven the car
- 4With a multimeter, check that the signal wire is not shorted to ground or voltage
- 5If the connection and wire are fine: have a workshop check the MAF sensor, since the sensor sits inside it
