Hva betyr feilkoden?
At start, the engine control module (ECM) stores the outside, intake and engine temperature values and compares them. If the outside temperature is too low compared with the other values, it is treated as a fault and the fault is set.
Mulige årsaker
- Damaged outside air temperature sensor
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connections
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the fault code, clear it and test drive to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the connector to the outside air temperature sensor is free from contact resistance and oxidation
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool: after a long rest, the outside air temperature in live data should roughly agree with the intake and engine temperatures
- 4If the connector and sensor are fine: have a workshop check the outside air temperature sensor
