Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module (ECM) watches the output stages for the fuel injectors and reacts when the amount of fuel injected is too large. The last digit of the fault code shows that cylinder 2 is concerned.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connections to the cylinder 2 injector
- Open circuit in the signal wire (+) to cylinder 2
- Open circuit in the signal wire (-) to cylinder 2
- Damaged cylinder 2 injector
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Switch off the ignition and check the connector to the cylinder 2 injector for play, contact resistance and oxidation
- 2Check that the wires to the cylinder 2 injector are not pinched, chafed or broken, and use a multimeter to confirm they are intact
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool: activate the cylinder 2 injector and see whether it responds
- 4Clear the code and test drive. If it returns although the wiring is intact, have a workshop replace the cylinder 2 injector
